Notable contributions

n  In order to extend the hydroponic technology all over Bangladesh, coordinated the JST funded Sakura Science Program for 13 Young Agricultural Researchers of BARI to acquire training in Shimane University, Japan on Simplified Hydroponics in 2018 and 2019.

n  During higher studies in Japan, conducted collaborative research using BARI developed 12 tomato varieties through hydroponics and soilless cultures using five types of coco-coir substrates.

n  Acted as the Person in Contact in three parties Agreement of Research Cooperation among Faculty of Life and Environmental Science, Shimane University, Horticulture Research Centre, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, and Faculty of Agriculture, Bangladesh Agricultural University. 

n  Contributed in the development of hybrid vegetable varieties such as BARI Hybrid Mistikumra-2, BARI Hybrid Jhinga-1 and BARI Hybrid Jhinga-2.

n  Developed hydroponic production technology of netted melon in Bangladesh.

n  Given advisory information to several commercial hydroponic growers in Bangladesh including Baba Farms Ltd. Tongi, Gazipur; Farm Fresh Organics, Ashulia, Savar; Paramount Agro, Sreepur, Gazipur.    

n  Helped to demonstrated and disseminated the simplified hydroponics technology in different location of Bangladesh including at Agricultural Research Station (ARS), Pahartali, Chattogram, Bangladesh.
